Patient Experience
A better sweet experience
Life was fun and school was heaven until one day a stroke of bad luck made my mom and dad knock the gates of hospitals. I was diagnosed with respiratory distress, unresponsive to drugs. The doctors at Kauvery did a host of tests and finally came up with an answer. I had diabetes. My sugar levels had risen to life - threatening levels - a whopping 850. By this time, I was almost comatose and had mild renal failure. Three days of intensive care, insulin therapy and the love and prayers of my parents, made me stable. Thanks to the counseling I received from the doctors at Kauvery, I now know that diabetes is a disease that can be effectively managed. I’m back to school again and life is just as sweet as it was before.
