Almond-Fried Gram Ladoo (Badam Pottukadalai Urundai)

Deepavali is almost here. Try this healthy, nutty, high protein festive sweet and wow your family. It's so simple to make and healthy too with the goodness of nuts and dates. Happy Deepavali!

Method:

  • In a pan, dry roast fried gram & almond.
  • Cool & then grind to a fine powder. Transfer to a bowl.
  • Melt ghee and keep aside.
  • Add jaggery, cardamom, cashew and dates to the almond & fried gram powder. Mix well.
  • Pour the ghee over this mixture and combine well with your hand.
  • Take small portions and shape in to small balls.
  • Store these ladoos in an air-tight container.
