It's been a great pleasure to be associated with our enthusiastic K Way readers every month and it gives immense happiness to wish you all a
Very Happy and Healthy 2019. I thank Dr Aravindan Selvaraj to have given me this prestigious opportunity to be part of K Way. It's been 3.5 consecutive years
since our online journal started and we promise to continue our exemplary services for the wellness of our readers.
As the beginning of the New Year is here, it is like a new beginning for us. It's a time to rejoice and rejuvenate. It is a time when everyone makes new resolutions for
the year. And not surprising, our resolutions are directed towards our health.
"Let's quit smoking", "Let's quit Alcohol", "Let's quit fast food", "Let's quit fatty food", "Let's quit being lazy", and so on...
Well, that's commendable. BUT let's think differently. "Let's Quit attitude". Recently, this has been the biggest challenge for all. To quit the negative attitude
and to start respecting and treating everyone in an equal manner is important. NEVER think we are superior to others. NEVER think we don't need anyone. TEAM WORK Never Fails.
THIS YEAR let us be focused on being united!
January, the beginning of a new year! Let us begin our new year with newer thoughts. Caring and to be cared for is a lovely resolution. Care for yourselves and others.
The month of January also celebrates creating awareness for our health. This month is the national awareness month for cervical cancer, prevention of birth defects,
thyroid awareness and national blood donation awareness.
This month we are focused on giving insight on all these topics.
A person may not be rich enough to donate money but we are all capable of donating something without asking for the help of others and that is blood donation and organ
donation which benefits people, the most.
I am so happy to wish all our lovely readers a very happy New Year. We are definitely always your most entrusted health partners and I take this opportunity to thank each
and every one of you for your continuous support.
Dr. Kavitha Sundaravadanam
