Current Position

• Professor of Radiology – Barnard Institute of Radiology, Madras Medical College, Chennai.
• Senior Consultant Radiologist (Part-Time) – Kauvery Hospital, Alwarpet, Chennai.

Work Experience

• In charge of the MRI Centre (3T AND 1.5 Tesla) at Madras Medical College.
• Reporting MRI and CT scans for nearly 15 years as a consultant and senior consultant radiologist at various private centres in Chennai

Areas of Interest:

• MRI (1.5T & 3T) – Special Techniques in:
• Neurology (including MR Spectroscopy, Diffusion Tensor Imaging and Perfusion studies)
• Cardiac and Urinary Tract Imaging
• Musculoskeletal Imaging.

Experience:

• Performed over 300 cardiac MRI studies
• Conducted over 400 PC CSF Flow Velocity studies
• Extensive experience in Spinal DTI and Spinal MR Spectroscopy studies
• Guide for MD (Radiodiagnosis) candidates since 2011
• Examiner for P.G. Degree (Radiodiagnosis) candidates since 2013
• Teaching undergraduate and postgraduate students for many years
• Examiner at various universities for MD and DNB candidates.
