Strawberry Banana Oatmeal Smoothie
Most of the mornings, I’m on the go. Many a times, I actually forget to have my breakfast – as silly as it may sound, it’s true! I came up with this wickedly satisfying smoothie which can also be prepared the previous night and stored in the fridge. They’re perfect for those mornings where you don’t have time to sit and eat and you need something quick to go. The oatmeal makes it filling and also thick, almost like a milkshake but without the dairy or the sugar!
Ingredients:
- Half cup oats
- Half cup strawberries (quartered and frozen)
- One whole banana (chopped and frozen)
- 1 1/2 cup coconut milk
- 1-2 tbsp honey, according to taste
- 1/4 tsp vanilla extract
Method:
- Blend the oats in blender until it becomes fine powder.
- Add the remaining ingredients and blend until it becomes smooth. Enjoy your chilled smoothie!
