Ladoo is a simple, healthy Indian sweet. The above recipe makes use of peanuts, jaggery and chia seeds. Peanuts are a good source of folic acid, protein, healthy fats, vitamin E, etc. They are a rich source of fibre as well. Jaggery contains minerals like potassium, magnesium, zinc and iron. Researchers have proved that peanuts increase immunity and maintain good heart health. Jaggery and peanuts are beneficial in the following ways:

  • They remove toxic substances from the body.
  • They help in overcoming acidity and constipation.
  • They are responsible for stronger teeth and bones.

Chia seeds are a good source of omega-3 fatty acids, fibre, antioxidants, iron and calcium. Despite their small size, chia seeds are full of important nutrients.
