Dr. Sangamitra Rajasekaran is a passionate medical practitioner with 6 years of intensive training in Pathology at PGIMER, Chandigarh. During her tenure, she was trained in various branches of pathology including surgical pathology, cytopathology (including interventional FNAC procedure), immunopathology, haematopathology (including bone marrow procedure), and autopsy pathology.
She has specialized in Renal and Transplant Pathology (PDCC, ICP-PGIMER) with expertise in interpreting complex renal biopsies and hands on experience in Direct immunofluorescence and electron microscopy. Dr. Sangamitra has extensive experience in performing interventional FNAC procedure and medical autopsies (pediatric and adult) and reporting Skin biopsy Direct immunofluorescence for immuno-bullous disorders.
She is also trained in basic flowcytometry and molecular techniques. She has actively contributed to multidisciplinary team discussions and clinical-pathological conferences, reinforcing her role in integrated patient care. Her academic background includes over 50 academic presentations and 12 peer-reviewed publications in international journals.
