Dr. Gowtham Kumar B
Dr. Gowtham Kumar B is a dedicated Anaesthesiologist with specialized training in Regional Anaesthesiology and experience in managing complex surgical cases in high-acuity environments. He completed his MBBS from ESIC Medical College and PGIMSR, Chennai, and pursued DNB in Anaesthesiology from Bhagwan Mahaveer Jain Hospital. He further strengthened his expertise through a Fellowship in Regional Anaesthesiology.
During his tenure as Senior Anaesthesiology Resident at Sri Ramachandra Institute of Higher Education and Research (SRIHER), he was actively involved in managing complex neurosurgical procedures including CP angle tumors, intracranial bypass surgeries, and pituitary adenomas. He has experience in neurocritical care management, contributing to improved outcomes in traumatic brain injury cases.
His clinical interests include ultrasound-guided peripheral nerve blocks, vascular anaesthesia, neuroanaesthesia, and structured pain management protocols. With certification in Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), Dr. Gowtham is trained to handle critical perioperative situations with precision and composure.
