
The many health benefits of brinjal include improving cardiovascular health and reducing bad cholesterol. It is also beneficial for immunity and fighting inflammation.
This simple, smoky, and absolutely delicious brinjal tawa fry is a must-try dish that combines flavour with health!
Ingredients:
- Brinjal, big – 1
- Garlic cloves, crushed – 8 to 10
- Red chilli powder – 2 tsp
- Turmeric powder – ½ tsp
- Cornflour – 2 tbsp
- Salt as required
Recipe:
- To a bowl, add the cornflour, garlic cloves and all the other powder ingredients. Mix well.
- Cut brinjal into slices of around 1 cm thickness.
- Coat these slices with the masala mix on both sides. Make sure the slices are evenly coated.
- Rest for 5 minutes.
- Heat oil in a pan. Spread the oil evenly.
- Once the oil heats, add your brinjal slices one by one. Cook to a golden crispiness.
- Flip over and cook the other side as well.
- Remove from the pan and enjoy it either as a starter or as a side dish.
