Patient's Story
Somewhere along the way his life went off the rails. He became huge, hitting a century plus in weight. His kidneys began to pack up, and he learned that they both have been shrinking since a long time and that now he is in Stage V, Chronic Renal Failure. When we stood around him and discussed the strategy to organize “renal replacement” therapy for him and get him to shrink his huge body with the might of modern medicine, the glimmer of hope began to glow brightly in him. He smiled and said, “Thank You”.
