Dr. Ameer Hussain
Dr. Ameer Hussain is a Consultant Radiologist with an MD in Radiodiagnosis and a MICR qualification. He completed his MD in Radiodiagnosis and MBBS, and has experience in radiology across clinical and academic settings.
His areas of clinical experience include Gastrointestinal and Genitourinary Radiology, Musculoskeletal Radiology, Neuroradiology and Interventional Radiology. He has also completed a thesis on “Outcomes Of Ultrasound Guided Percutaneous Drainage Of Pancreatic Fluid Collections- A Prospective Study In Tertiary Health Care Centre” and has worked on “MRI findings in Japanese Encephalitis: A Case.”
He has received several academic recognitions, including the Gold Medal Winner at the TNPY IRIA 75th State Conference Quiz in 2022 and third prizes at the International Day of Radiology Meet, Chennai in 2022 and the RARE 2023 Quiz. He secured Rank 33 in NEET SS 2023 and Rank 15 in INI SS 2023 for DM Interventional Radiology.
He has presented multiple papers and posters at state and national conferences and has completed the MICR examination conducted by ICRI Series.
