Dr. B. Sriviruthi
Dr. B. Sriviruthi is trained in Neuroimaging and Interventional Radiology, with an MD in Radio-Diagnosis from Mysore Medical College and a DM in Neuroimaging & Interventions from JIPMER, Puducherry. She completed her DM academic clinical residency from July 2022 to June 2025, with training in Interventional Radiology and Neuroimaging.
During her clinical residency, she gained exposure to peripheral and visceral vascular interventions, neurovascular procedures including diagnostic angiograms, coiling, flow diversion and pre-operative embolization, biliary interventions, sclerotherapy for varicose veins and vascular/lymphatic malformations, and other image-guided procedures using ultrasound and fluoroscopic guidance. She also participated in multidisciplinary case discussions, academic activities and research.
She was awarded the Gold Medal in MD Radio-Diagnosis from RGUHS in 2022 and was recognised as the Best Outgoing Student in MBBS in 2017. She was also a University Topper in General Medicine and received Academic Proficiency Awards in Biochemistry, Physiology, Pathology, Microbiology and General Medicine.
Her academic work includes publications in international and national peer-reviewed journals, case reports in the Eurorad-ESR Case Database, and presentations at national and international conferences. Her research interests include neuroimaging, vascular and interventional radiology, and diagnostic imaging.
