Dr Arasi Maran
Dr. Arasi Maran, MD, FACC, FSCAI, is an Interventional Cardiologist and Associate Professor of Medicine with extensive experience in cardiology and interventional cardiology. She is also a Director of the Coronary Chronic Total Occlusion (CTO) Program and has served in leadership roles in cardiac catheterisation laboratory services.
She completed her MBBS from Madras Medical College, Chennai, followed by postgraduate training in General Surgery, Internal Medicine, General Cardiology and Interventional Cardiology. She has also completed a Master in Business Administration from Kellogg, Northwestern University.
Dr. Arasi Maran is board-certified in Internal Medicine, General Cardiology and Interventional Cardiology. She is a Fellow of the American College of Cardiology (FACC) and a Fellow of the Society of Cardiovascular Angiography and Interventions (FSCAI).
Her professional contributions include teaching and mentorship in cardiology and interventional cardiology, participation in national and international academic programmes, clinical research, editorial responsibilities and invited lectures. She has also contributed to peer-reviewed publications, published abstracts and book chapters.
She has received several honours, including the Women in Cardiology Trainee Award for Excellence from the American Heart Association, the Vinayaka Mission Research Foundation Award for Original Research, the Sundaram Award from the Association of Surgeons of India and the Venugopal Gold Medal for Urology.
