The academic division of Kauvery excelled gradually. Paediatric academic division is led by Dr Suresh Chelliah. Kauvery is the only hospital in Trichy to be accredited by NBE to hold a DNB paediatrics course. Currently, we have 3 post-diploma candidates and 3 primary candidates. We conduct academic classes, journal clubs, case presentations, seminars, faculty lectures, guest lectures, and clinical meetings regularly. We research in paediatrics under each DNB candidate with the guidance of a senior consultant.
We do encourage our DNB graduates in various academic activities. Our DNB candidates have excelled in case presentation, poster presentation, paper presentation & quiz competitions in state, national & international conferences. We are also accredited by NNF to hold the Neonatology fellowship course and the Neonatology nursing fellowship course. We also provide a certified course for paediatric nursing
