Our PICU is a 16 bedded well equipped tertiary care unit with all updated facilities for the care of critically ill children. We offer advanced pediatric critical care by the team including qualified and experienced pediatric intensivist, pediatricians, critical care nurses and respiratory technicians.
We are equipped with advanced mechanical ventilators and multipara monitors to provide world class excellent care to sick children. Being a reputed pediatric tertiary care centre in trichy with exclusive pediatric ICU and step-down ICU, we mange various critically ill children and provide good outcome. We provide holistic care to the child by involving the family members in care and all healthcare decision-making for the child.
We are also equipped with 10 bedded high dependency unit (HDU) which functions as step down ICU for those who are transferred from PICU. HDU also functions as monitoring area for those children who need close attention.
