Dr. E. Selvaprakash
Dr. E. Selvaprakash, MBBS, MD (General Medicine), DM (Cardiology) is a dedicated Interventional Cardiologist with strong expertise in coronary and structural heart interventions. He has independently performed more than 500 coronary angiograms, over 100 angioplasties, and numerous primary PCI procedures. He is also skilled permanent pacemaker implantations, central venous access, and 2D echocardiography.
Dr. Selvaprakash completed his MBBS at Thanjavur Medical College, MD (General Medicine) and DM (Cardiology) from Stanley Medical College, Chennai. He has extensive experience in managing heart failure, STEMI, and critical care cardiology.
He has presented scientific papers at national and state cardiology conferences, including ISCCON and the Tamil Nadu Cardiological Society annual meet. His research work on cardiovascular risk score predictive accuracy won the Best Oral Presentation Award at CSICON 2023 and was later published in the Asian Journal of Medical Sciences.
Beyond his clinical expertise, Dr. Selvaprakash has actively contributed to CME programs, academic activities, and research.
