Dr. Ashwinkumar S

Dr. Ashwinkumar S is an accomplished radiologist with 12 years of post-MD experience in high-volume diagnostic centres and tertiary care hospitals. With a strong foundation in musculoskeletal imaging, he has consistently demonstrated excellence in cross-sectional imaging (CT and MRI), ultrasonography and Doppler studies, musculoskeletal ultrasonography, ultrasound-guided interventions, emergency and trauma imaging, and PET-CT reporting. He completed his M.B.B.S. at Government Medical College, Chengalpattu, and his M.D. in Radiodiagnosis at Government Medical College, Kottayam. He then served as Senior Resident at Kottayam and as Consultant Radiologist at Indian Scans, Tambaram. Most recently, he was Senior Consultant Radiologist at MIOT International, Chennai, from 2018 to 2026, where he independently reported a high caseload and worked closely with clinical teams on multidisciplinary decision-making. He has also served as DNB teaching faculty and as guide and co-guide for postgraduate theses. Dr. Ashwinkumar is known for his focus on accuracy, patient safety, and collaborative care, and he continues to contribute to patient care and medical imaging.
