Dr. Keerthi K is a surgeon specialising in Breast, Endocrine and General Surgery at Kauvery Hospital, Alwarpet, Chennai. She completed her Master of Chirurgiae (MCh) in Breast, Endocrine and General Surgery from the All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS), New Delhi, and her Master of Surgery (MS) in General Surgery from Christian Medical College, Vellore.

Her surgical skills include breast procedures such as ultrasound-guided breast biopsy, ultrasound-guided drainage of breast abscesses, fibroadenoma excision, modified radical mastectomy, simple mastectomy and wide local excision. She has also received training in sentinel lymph node biopsies, ultrasound-guided and wire-guided breast lesion excisions, oncoplastic breast surgery techniques, including Grisotti technique, round block and superior and inferior pedicle mammoplasty, as well as perforator-based flaps such as LICAP and AICAP.

Her experience in endocrine surgery includes thyroidectomy, hemithyroidectomy, parathyroidectomy, laparoscopic adrenalectomy and pancreatic neuroendocrine tumour excision. Her general surgical training also includes exposure to head and neck surgery, including neck dissections, parotidectomies and free-flap oncological reconstruction, along with rotations in hepatobiliary, vascular, colorectal and upper gastrointestinal surgery.
