Dr Supriyaa B B

Dr. Supriyaa Bhakthavatchalam B is a Consultant Physician and Diabetologist with over 7 years of post-MD clinical experience. She has experience in acute medical care, diabetes management, infectious diseases, and inpatient and outpatient services across hospital and teaching settings.

She completed her MD in General Medicine in 2019 and MBBS in 2015 from Dr. B.R. Ambedkar Medical College & Hospital, Bangalore, securing First Class in both. She has also completed a Fellowship in Diabetes Mellitus (FIDM) from the UK and a Fellowship in Infectious Diseases (FIID) from Singapore. She is also certified by Harvard Medical School in Advanced Management of Diabetes and Obesity (2026).

She has been actively involved in patient care, clinical governance, medical education, UG, PG and DNB teaching, mentoring, research and academic presentations. She has presented papers and posters at national and state-level forums and has authored and co-authored several national and international peer-reviewed journal publications.

Her academic recognitions include First Place in Paper Presentation (Cardiology section) at KAPICON 2018, Best Outgoing Student – MBBS, RGUHS Gold Medal in Forensic Medicine, multiple subject distinctions, and winner of the NIMHANS ARPANN Neurology Quiz.
