Dr Kesavan G
Dr. G. Kesavan is a Consultant Neurosurgeon with over 11 years of experience in cranial, spinal and neurotrauma surgery. He has experience in managing high-volume emergency and elective neurosurgical cases, with special interests in neuro-oncology, spine surgery and traumatic brain injury.
He is an MCh-qualified Neurosurgeon and has completed his MCh in Neurosurgery and MS in General Surgery from Madras Medical College, along with his MBBS from Coimbatore Medical College. He has also undergone neurosurgical training at CMC Vellore and AIIMS New Delhi.
His clinical experience includes approximately 800 neurosurgical trauma procedures, 400 brain tumour surgeries and 350 spine surgeries, along with expertise in emergency and elective cranial surgery, spinal instrumentation and neurocritical care.
He has academic and research experience, including publications on Serum GFAP as a diagnostic and prognostic marker for Glioblastoma multiforme and the clinical profile, radiological spectrum and surgical outcome of spinal cord tumours. He has also presented papers and cases at academic conferences.
