Dr. Murali Jayaraman is a renowned Gastro Intestinal Surgeon with 26 years of practise in performing complex gastro intestinal, Hepato biliary and pancreatic surgeries. He is an experienced Liver transplant Surgeon and is successfully running the program in Hosur. He is known for his commitment and patient centric care.

Education Qualification

• He did his MBBS from Madurai Medical College and passed out with distinction in 1999. He was a gold medalist in General surgery.
• He did his MS (general surgery) from Govt. Stanley Medical College, Chennai from 2000-2003. He has Gold medal in Paediatric surgery during his post-graduation.
• He completed his DNB (Surg Gastroenterology) from the prestigious Amrita Institute of Medical sciences, Ernakulam in the year 2010.
• He got his fellowship in Minimal access surgery in 2009.

Experience

Has 15 years of experience in performing various laparoscopic surgeries like cholecystectomy, Hernia repair including the latest techinique of E-TEP repair for abdominal wall hernia, other procedures like Fundoplication, Cardiomyotomy, Colorectal cancer surgeries, Gastric cancer surgeries, Pancreatectomy and splenectomy, thoracoscopic esophagectomy for esophageal cancer. Experienced in performing bariatric surgeries like Sleeve gastrectomy and Gastric bypass. Interestingly he also experienced in vascular surgeries like Aortal aneurysm repair, Aorto femoral and femoral popliteal bypass. He is successfully running a liver transplantation at Kauvery hospital Hosur.
