• Schooling from E.R.Higher secondary school, Trichy
• Graduated MBBS., from Thanjavur medical college, Thanjavur. 1991 to 1996
• Underwent M.D., Anaesthesiology from Thanjavur Medical college, Thanjavur. 1998 to 2001
• He stood “university first” in post graduation qualifying exam and was awarded Gold Medal from Dr. MGR Medical University, Tamil Nadu
• After his post graduation he underwent one year cardiac anaesthesia training from Sri Ramachandra Medical College and Research Institute, Porur Chennai
• He has completed a Fellowship in Interventional pain medicine during 2012 from Daradia Pain clinic, Kolkata
• He has completed Post Graduate Diploma in Medical Law and Ethics during 2016 from National Law School of India University, Bengaluru
• He is AHA certified BLS & ACLS Instructor
• Towards the journey of Quality and Standards, he is an NABH Assessor
• Heading and leading the department of Anaesthesiology and Toxicology with eight consultants as team members
• Interested in academics, Quality assurance, teaching and leadership
• Attended many conferences as delegate and faculty since 2001
• Conducted CME/Conference/Workshop

• Practising Anaesthesiology and Toxicology since 2005
• He is very well equipped and has the expertise in all sorts of anaesthetic technique and life saving procedures ranging from newborns to octogenarians
• Apart from routine anaesthetic techniques he is also having expertise in Renal transplant anaesthesia, Intra operative Neuro monitoring, Awake craniotomies, Bariatric anaesthesia, Pediatric anaesthesia, Safe regional anaesthetic techniques for Elderly and newborns and much more
• Wide experience in ICU procedures like Tracheostomy, Intercostal drainage, all types of Central venous cannulation, etc.
• Ultrasound usage in anaesthesia and ICU procedures as a standard of care

• Conducted many Road safety awareness program among the public, many times
• Created awareness about first aid in prehospital trauma in schools, colleges, police department and other NGO associations
• One of the lead role in Airport disaster drill conducted at Trichy Airport during 2018
