The true source of her courage was her daughter-in-law, who had previously undergone successful chemotherapy and adjuvant radiotherapy for dual primary malignancies at the same facility. The daughter-in-law’s clinical victory and eventual recovery became a powerful beacon of trust, guiding the entire family back to the institute when the grandmother fell ill.
Treatment Details
Following her initial chemotherapy sessions, the patient was scheduled for high-dose radical radiotherapy to aggressively target the tumor in her left lung. Despite her advanced age, she tolerated the entire high-dose regimen exceptionally well, demonstrating remarkable physical and mental resilience.
