Dr. Aravindan Selvaraj, Co-Founder & Executive Director, Kauvery Group of Hospitals has been appointed as Chairman, ASSOCHAM Tamil Nadu State Development Council 2024-25.

Chennai, 19th June 2024 – The Associated Chambers of Commerce and Industry of India (ASSOCHAM) is proud to unveil a powerful new leadership team for the ASSOCHAM Tamil Nadu State Development Council for the 2024-25 term. This esteemed council will be part of the change makers who play a key part of the transformation that the TN economy is poised to achieve.

The council will be guided by a team of distinguished leaders known for their accomplishments across diverse industries. At the forefront is Dr. Aravindan Selvaraj, Co-Founder and Executive Director of Kauvery Hospital, who will serve as the Council Chair. Supporting him as Co-Chairs are Mr. Gopal Mahadevan, Director – Strategic Finance and M&A of Ashok Leyland, Mr. Aiyappan Ramamurthi, Services Director at Siemens Digital Industries Software, and Er. K. Mariappan, Managing Director of Steel Cluster Services Salem (Pvt.) Ltd., stands as a dedicated partner in shaping Tamil Nadu’s industrial future.

Looking ahead, the potential for Tamil Nadu’s growth is undeniable. The Tamil Nadu government’s vision of a $1 trillion economy by 2030 is an ambitious yet achievable target. This vision is bolstered by the state’s historical growth trajectory. Over the decade preceding the COVID-19 pandemic, Tamil Nadu’s economy witnessed an impressive average annual growth rate of 11%. Achieving this ambitious target demands a collaborative effort. ASSOCHAM Tamil Nadu is poised to play a pivotal role in this remarkable feat.
