Light green long Milagai/ Green chillies 6nos
Roasted Peanuts ½ cup
Turmeric powder ¼ tsp
Salt as needed
Oil 1 tbsp
The green chilly used should be unripe and fresh to make this recipe. This is very quick and easy to make. Needs very less oil. This stuffed chilly is a nice treat for your taste buds. You can serve this as an accompaniment for the comfort food dal and rice or serve as a starter.
Wash the chillies and pat dry
Slit the chillies, scoop out the seeds and discard them.
In a mixer coarsely grind peanuts, turmeric powder and salt.
Fill the chillies with this mixture.
Heat pan pour little oil and place the stuffed chillies. Shallow fry.
Toss for few minutes and serve hot.
Green chillies contain water and have no cholesterol content, making them a healthier alternative to many spices. It is rich in Vitamin B6, Vitamin A, Iron, Copper, Potassium and a small amount of Protein and Carbohydrates.
