Kauvery Hospital Hosts Successful Nellai Kauvery Marathon: “Run for Your Healthy Heart”
Tirunelveli, September 22, 2024 – Kauvery Hospital proudly organized the inaugural “Nellai Kauvery Marathon,” attracting over 4,500 enthusiastic participants dedicated to promoting heart health. With the theme “Run for Your Healthy Heart,” the marathon aimed to raise awareness about heart health and inspire the community to adopt a healthier lifestyle.
The event kicked off with a vibrant atmosphere at St. John’s Hr Sec School, Tirunelveli, featuring both a 5km and a 10km marathon. The 5km flag-off was led by Thiru. Rupesh Kumar Meena, IPS, Commissioner of Police, who emphasized the importance of physical fitness and community engagement. Dr. M.S. Mahboobu Subuhani, Consultant Cardiologist at Kauvery Hospital Tirunelveli, Dr. Arun singh Consultant Cardiothoracic surgeon Kauvery hospital, Tirunelveli officiated the 10km flag-off, highlighting the significance of regular exercise in preventing heart disease. Dr. Sulaiman, a renowned cardiologist, also contributed his expertise to promote heart health and motivate participants throughout the event.
Key figures from Kauvery Hospital, including Dr. Lakshmanan, Medical Administrator; Unit Head Mr. Vairamuthu; and Operations Manager Mr. Ganesan, played instrumental roles in organizing this successful event. Their leadership and dedication ensured a seamless experience for all participants.
