It’s going to be a fun summer with so much happening, in spite of the weather.
Teenduruns Chennai Express – 5 K Marathon was held on 24th April 2016
Kauvery Hospital was the medical partner for this event. The Chief Guest was Dr. Aravindan Selvaraj, Executive Director, Kauvery Hospital. 500 runners participated in this Marathon which included Kauvery’s Emergency team and the Office team. The flag off was at 5.30 am. Health stalls were set up by the hospital at Besant Nagar beach.
Adult & Paediatric Cardiology Camp at Karambakudi, Pudukkottai
An Adult & Paediatric Cardiology Camp with association with Karambakudi Rotary Club was held on April 23, 2016. The camp was conducted at Govt.Girls Hr.Sec.School, Karambakudi, Pudukkottai. Rotary Club President Mr. Gnanansekaran appreciated the services rendered by Kauvery Hospital. Vital check-up, ECG & Echocardiogram were done for patients; more than 154 patients were screened during the camp.
Health Talk at Pondicherry Senior Citizen Welfare Association
A Health Talk was given by Dr.N.Lakshmipathy Ramesh, Geriatrician, Kauvery Hospital in an event conducted by the Pondicherry Senior Citizen Welfare Association on 22nd April. Blood sugar and Blood pressure was checked for about 80 senior citizens.
Geriatric Health Camp at Anna University Alumini Club
A Geriatric Health Camp was conducted by Dr.Lakshmipathy Ramesh for the members of Anna University Alumini Club on April 10, 2016. Club members appreciated the services offered by Kauvery Hospital. Vital check-ups & ECG were done for the alumini club members.
Kauvery Hospital celebrates World Health Day with Torch Relay
Chennai, April 7th, 2016 – Kauvery Hospital celebrated World Health Day with a Torch Relay to raise awareness on Good Health & Wellness.
The hospital also conducted free health check-ups for the public at the start and end points of the relay.
The participants kick started the torch relay at 7 am from Elliot’s Beach (Besant Nagar) and covered a relay route including Thiruvanmiyur Signal – Adyar Signal – M.G.R. Janaki College (Sathya Studio) – Billroth Hospital Signal – Kauvery Hospital – and finally culminated at Nageswara Rao Park (Mylapore) at 9 am.
Kauvery Hospital kiosks were present at Elliot’s Beach and Nageswara Rao Park between 5:30 am and 9 am for the public to get their Sugar level and Blood Pressure checked.
