World Elder Abuse Awareness Day – June 15, 2017
World Elder Abuse Awareness Day observed on 15th June, serves as a call-to-action for individuals, organisations, and communities to raise awareness about abuse, neglect, and exploitation of elders.
In recognition of this day and with the mission of creating awareness and urge to action among the community at large, Kauvery Hospital conducted an awareness campaign on the importance of respecting elders. A pledge was undertaken by the students of Sri Sankara Matriculation Higher Secondary School, Thiruvanmiyur in support of Elder Abuse Awareness.
