Kauvery Hospital Trichy organised a district level awareness human chain
A District level Awareness Human Chain, recommended by the Chief Minister’s Comprehensive Health Insurance Scheme on 25th Nov 2016, at 9.30 am, on the occasion of Indian Organ Donors Day. Mr.Sachithananadam, Assistant Commissioner of Police, Srirangam was the chief guest. The welcome speech was rendered by Dr. A.Subramaniyan, Sr. Medical Admin of Kauvery Hospital, Cantonment. Dr.T.Rajarajan, Nephrologist delivered the importance of Organ Donation to the gathering. Joint Managing Director, Dr. S. Manivannan gave the keynote address. More than 500 members from various firms and institutions like NGOs, Rotary Elite, Live Donors and Organ recipients participated in the human chain. A signature campaign was also organized and sensitized the idea of organ donation to the public.
