Salem, 1st February 2019: KauveryHospital, Salem, hosted a one-day BasicLife Support (BLS) training workshop at its premises, today. The workshop was conducted by Dr. Ashok, EmergencyPhysician, Kauvery Hospital, Salem.

Acute myocardial infarction, Seizures, Choking, Dog bites, etc. and how to
provide first-aid and critical support to a patient at the golden hour.

resuscitation) and basic first-aid as a part of its programme. Using a
mannequin, the participants were given a demonstration on how to perform CPR (Cardiopulmonary
resuscitation) and the Heimlich Manoeuvre, including the important Do's and
Don'ts that should be kept in mind during a CPR.

a medical emergency and the immediate treatment that can be done while they are
being transported to the hospital.

SuperStar'. Following the successful completion of the first workshop,
Kauvery Hospital would be organizing the BLS training, every Friday.
