Kauvery Hospital, Joseph Institute Join Hands to Create Mini Forest with 10,000 Trees

Trichy, May 5 2026: Kauvery Hospital and Joseph Institute of Management launched a mini forest project here today. The initiative aims to plant 10,000 saplings across one acre of land in the city. Hundreds of volunteers, including Kauvery Hospital’s nursing staff, participated in the plantation drive.

Mr. Anbuchezhian, Director, Kauvery Hospital; Dr. Paulraj, Rector, St. Joseph’s College; Dr. Paulraj, Director, and Mr. Antony Inigo, Treasurer, Joseph Institute of Management were among the chief guests who took part in the event. The event was coordinated by District Revenue Officer Mr. Vaidyanathan.

The Kauvery Hospital Group, which has been promoting mini forests across the city, said the initiative would significantly help reduce air pollution around the Chathiram Bus Stand area.
