Tirunelveli, May 28 2026: On the occasion of the World Emergency Medicine Day, which falls on May 27 annually, Kauvery Hospital, Tirunelveli organised a road safety awareness program at Vannarpettai in the city to educate the public on responsible driving, emergency response and first-aid techniques.
The emergency medicine department team from Kauvery Hospital, including Dr. Arpana Singh and Dr. Vijay Baskar, provided hands-on training to the public on life-saving rescue and first aid techniques. They demonstrated emergency medical procedures essential for saving lives during accidents and health crises. Traffic police officials from Palai and Junction, delivered awareness speeches focusing on road safety regulations, traffic discipline, and precautionary measures to prevent road accidents.
