Kauvery Hospital and FX Polytechnic College Host Major World Heart Day Awareness Rally in Tirunelveli

TIRUNELVELI, September 29, 2025 Kauvery Hospital, Tirunelveli, in collaboration with the Outreach Club and NSS of FX Polytechnic College, successfully organized a large-scale awareness rally today in observance of World Heart Day.

The rally, which commenced at 10:30 AM from the FX Polytechnic College campus in Tharuvai, saw the enthusiastic participation of over 300 students. The initiative aimed to educate the public on the importance of heart health and preventive measures against cardiac diseases, aligning with this year’s theme, “Don’t Miss a Beat.”

The event was flagged off by Dr.Arun Singh., Consultant – Cardiothoracic and Vascular Surgery and Dr.John Kennedy, Director of Admissions and Activities for the SCAD Group Institutions, who commended the organizers for the crucial public health initiative.

Addressing the participants, From Kauvery Hospital, Tirunelveli, Dr.Arun Singh provided key insights into Heart health and the importance of timely care.

Dr.Ayyanar Raja, Principal of FX Polytechnic College, delivered encouraging words to motivate the students. He was joined by college representatives Mr. Vimal, Outreach Club Faculty Coordinator, and Mr. Suresh, NSS Coordinator, who emphasized the vital role of youth in spreading awareness.
