Our dear KWAY readers,

Happy Labour Day to all the devoted, passionate, talented individuals who work tirelessly to improve our economy and develop our nation.

As a family physician, this month is very special for me.

Chennai is making us melt with its hottest weather.

Some lucky people get away with the coolest vacation plans!

The city is packed with families enjoying the parks and the beaches.

Family members all around the world are eagerly coming back to reunite with their loved ones, braving the heat.

While it is hot, it is also heart-warming to see people normalizing their lives after a long pandemic.

We realize the value of something only when we don’t get it or only when we lose it.

We realized how valuable a normal lifestyle can be only when we almost lost it, isn’t that true?

So, enjoy your summer vacation!

Very special about this month is “Mother’s Day!”

Truly, every day should be celebrated as Mother’s Day.

A mother, “Amma”, is the embodiment of a person who always “gives”. Her love and affection are abundant and unbiased.

Mothers are society’s most valuable treasure.

Mothers need not be only biological. Any woman whose guidance is shaping the personality and guarding the health and welfare of a child is also a mother.

Let’s wish all our dear Mothers a healthy and happy life.

Last, but not the least, we family medicine practitioners celebrate Our Day in this month of May.

A family physician is one who delivers comprehensive care for all the members of the family, knowing their complete family history.

They interact with all the specialities to make sure their patients get the best care and follow-up.

We wish all our family physicians around the globe a Happy Family Physician Day on May 19th!

Have a great month ahead.

I would love to know what you think about our monthly newsletter. Feel free to connect with me via phone +91 93800 51360 or by email [email protected].

Hello Summer!

uma-chan
By Uma & Chan

As the weather gets hotter and the days get longer, we can’t help but feel a sense of excitement and anticipation for what’s to come. When you grow up and become a healthcare worker, summer takes on a whole new meaning. It may not be the same two-month break from school and life as it used to be, but that doesn’t mean we can’t still make the most of it.

We recently had a heart-to-heart conversation about our goals for this upcoming summer. We shared our passions, our dreams, and our plans for making this summer one for the books. And let us tell you, the energy in the room was contagious! It was incredible to see how we all connected and inspired each other.

As a team, we’ve decided that this summer, we want to cultivate a more optimistic outlook. We’ve been inspired by the patients we’ve met at the hospital who are dealing with incredibly challenging situations, yet they remain hopeful and resilient. Witnessing their strength has reminded us that no matter what life throws our way, we can choose to approach it with grace and positivity. Our goal is to adopt that same sense of optimism in our own lives and to keep pushing forward, no matter what challenges come our way.

Keep reading to see what our lovely Kauverians had to say. Who knows, it might give you some amazing ideas too! And of course, we want to hear from you. What are you most excited about?

Kauverians Share Their Summer Plans and Positive Outlook

“This summer, I’m trying to work on my patience skills. I know my generation likes to do everything quickly, but my experience working with elderly patients has shown me how important it is to slow down. The hospital is the perfect place for me to learn and improve in this area.”

“As the summer rolls around, I’m looking forward to spending my day offs exploring YouTube and discovering new cultures. I get to care for some international patients and I want to learn more about their backgrounds so I can connect with them better and make them feel more at home.”

“I’m super excited about my upcoming summer day trip to Mahabalipuram! This place is a seafood paradise, with plenty of small eateries serving up the freshest catch of the day. I’m definitely on a mission to step out of my comfort zone and try something new and adventurous with my taste buds.”

I’D LOVE TO EXPLORE CHENNAI AS A TOURIST! SOMETIMES I REALIZE I TAKE THIS GORGEOUS CITY FOR GRANTED, YOU KNOW? IT’S LIKE WE DON’T VALUE THINGS THAT ARE EASILY ACCESSIBLE. I BET MANY OF US DON’T APPRECIATE OUR HOMETOWNS AS MUCH AS WE SHOULD, AND I WANT TO CHANGE THAT.

“So, every summer, me and my college buddies make this awesome plan to head over to Tada falls for a day trip. I mean, who doesn’t love a good hike through nature, am I right? It’s become an annual tradition for us, and honestly, it’s one of the highlights of my summer.”

“I love trying out new recipes, and mangoes are one of my favorite fruits, so I thought it would be a fun challenge to come up with unique and tasty mango dishes. Plus, with the hot weather, it’s the perfect time to experiment with refreshing and tropical flavors.

Say hello to our new Kauverians!

Keep your eyes peeled because you’re definitely going to see them around. Don’t be shy, say hello – they’re a lively and vibrant group that would love to get to know you.

Kauvery Hospital contributes to Agaram Foundation to support the Education of 150 Students

Through this initiative Kauvery Hospital shall support the education of nearly 150 students from the lower income group of Tamil Nadu. The contribution will cover the college fee, hostel fee and training programs, thus helping students gain access to quality education, which is still a far reach for many. “Education plays a vital role in protecting a child’s future which eventually builds a better society and stronger nation. However, there is still a wide gap that exists in the education for children from the rural areas. Contributing to a child’s education makes a difference to the society, and we feel honored to support Agaram Foundation through the initiative. Together we shall build a better tomorrow.”
