Dear K-Way Readers,
As always, our eagerness to reconnect is building up every month. To share our knowledge with all of you is something that we look forward to. Our articles are written in a combo of theory, practice and patient experience so that a complete understanding of a particular disease or disorder is explained.
In that aspect, this November 14th being World Diabetes Day, we have focused on diabetes mellitus – a non-communicable disease which is spreading a lot faster than a communicable disease, not sparing children or elders. It is a metabolic disorder which puts a patient in mental, physical and financial strain. On its way, it adds on its friends – hypertension, heart disease, kidney disease, neuropathy and retinopathies. It’s not going to spare any tissue.
But everything is preventable and reversible if we know what we need to know. Just by saying lifestyle changes, no changes are going to happen. It needs to be nailed in our minds to start this minute. We need to spend time to educate our families and children from today.
The platter of articles will definitely enlighten your minds.
Do read and share.
Thank you!
Have a great month ahead!
