Dr. Senthilkumar Srinivasan

Dr. Senthilkumar Srinivasan is a highly accomplished Interventional Cardiologist with over two decades of experience in comprehensive cardiac care and more than a decade of expertise in advanced coronary and structural interventions.

He completed his MBBS from Government Stanley Medical College, Chennai, followed by MD in General Medicine from Madras Medical College, and DM in Cardiology from the prestigious JIPMER, Puducherry.

Prior to joining Kauvery Hospital, he served as Additional Chief Health Director and Senior Consultant Interventional Cardiologist at IRHS, Southern Railways, Perambur Railway Hospital, where he led comprehensive cardiac services and performed a wide spectrum of complex interventional procedures.

Dr. Senthilkumar has extensive experience in performing high-risk and complex cardiac interventions. His procedural expertise includes over 2000 coronary angiograms, 1000+ percutaneous coronary interventions (PCIs), and 100+ cardiac implantable electronic device (CIED) implantations. His interventional portfolio covers primary PCI, complex bifurcation PCI, chronic total occlusion (CTO) interventions, graft PCI, and image-guided procedures, with consistently high success rates and an excellent safety record.

He is proficient in structural heart interventions including ASD and PDA device closures, Balloon Mitral Valvotomy, pulmonary valvuloplasty, TAVR, TMVR, and EVAR. He is also experienced in peripheral vascular interventions such as renal angioplasty and lower limb arterial angioplasty.

In addition to clinical excellence, Dr. Senthilkumar serves as a faculty member for NBEMS, actively training DrNB Cardiology residents and conducting ACLS training programs for healthcare professionals.

His clinical approach integrates precision, advanced imaging guidance, and evidence-based protocols to deliver optimal outcomes in both routine and complex cardiovascular cases.
