Brief Profile:
Dr. Mahalakshmi is an experienced Anaesthetist with a decade of expertise in various specialties including general surgery, orthopaedics, vascular surgery, urology, renal transplant surgery, and plastic and maxillofacial surgery. Her field of interest extends to nerve blocks and obstetric analgesia, and she is part of a well-established acute pain service.
She is a certified Acute Illness Management (AIM) instructor trained by the Greater Manchester Critical Care Network. Dr. Mahalakshmi has acquired the skills and competencies required to train staff in the recognition and management of acutely ill patients, providing primary responses for adult patients with deteriorating health.
