Kauvery Hospital has played a significant role in nurturing nursing leadership that integrates clinical excellence, innovation, quality improvement, and academic contribution. The institution’s support has been instrumental in the work that led to the recent prestigious “Distinguished alumni award 2025-SRM Institute of Science and Technology”. Kauvery has also demonstrated leadership in nursing workforce development by supporting the Nurse Residency Program (NRP) one of the first structured nurse residency initiatives in India and my contribution as NRP course coordinator which is highly valued and appreciated, added meaning to my profile. Maternal and neonatal health initiatives further reflect Kauvery’s patient-centred approach. Structured Antenatal Wellness Program and coordinated Baby Friendly Hospital Initiative (BFHI) activities strengthened my professional contribution. Through active participation in Community engagement activities in Kauvery on Breast-feeding awareness programme and Hand hygiene awareness programme has also strengthened Importantly, Kauvery Hospitals has actively supported research, publications, and academic dissemination, recognizing that high-quality healthcare. This support resulted in several scholarly contributions, including publications in the Kauvery Nightingale Journal and

Kauvery Medical Journal such as:

Organisation also provided opportunity to participate in national and international conferences as a resource person, enabling to share best practices in patient safety, quality markers, and nursing innovation. The prestigious alumni award, therefore, represents more than an individual achievement, it symbolises a shared journey of growth and professional excellence. It reflects Kauvery Hospitals’ enduring commitment to nurturing nurse leaders who integrate practice, quality and research. This also can create hidden motivation for transforming upcoming second level mentors and preceptors from ground level to contribute towards publications and implementation of evidence-based practices for better clinical outcomes.
