Dear colleagues.

The NIGHTINGALE has only one mission, to get our Nightingales to sing their work and learnings to you.

Nightingales are those who care about our patients, and our way of life and work in service to our patients.

Every time we introduce to you new nightingales, while seasoned nightingales set examples to them, by reciting their good work.

Let the youth sing first.

Dharsshini, a Pharm D Intern, who completed her eventful innings in Clinical Pharmacy at Kauvery Trichy hospitals, publishes two case reports- on Cerebral Malaria and Hypertrophic Cardiomyopathy.

On the other end of seniority, Arputhamary, champion of Nursing at the ER of Tennur, writes proudly and passionately about how the Tennur team saved a fellow Kauverian” s life from a grievous head injury.

Anandhi, Deepa, Bhagavathy and Stella from Chennai Alwarpert write about visual management to prevent extravasation during chemotherapy.

Two good review articles follow:

Sneha, from Tennur, writes about Malignant Ovarian Germ Cell Tumors.

Swetha, also from Tennur, writes about the mysterious Monocyte .

Occupational Physio Therapy for Sensory Modulation Disorders is the Theme of Mahendran”s mindful paper from HAMSA, Trichy.

Two thoughtful articles on Dietary Managment conclude the professional part of the Journal.

Jennifer Theresa from Tennur writes on a very thoughtful subject- Diet for the Immuno- suppressed and the Immuno- compromised.

Sheeba from Heart City advises on Diet for the patient who is thrice challenged, with Triple Vessel Coronary Artery Disease.

Poet Balasubramaniam from Salem concludes our concert with his poems.

Do sing with the NIGHTINGALE

Best regards.
