Management:

This is the video of the patient with an open chest injury, which we have received in our ER. Exposing the ribs, pericardium, Stomach and diaphragm.

Particularly in this patient, we can’t provide a three way occlusive dressing because of the large chest wall defect. Though, the patient was conscious, alert with no airway compliment.

We need to provide a positive pressure ventilation in order to open up the collapsed Alveoli.
